LIVE PERFORMANCES
A household name in Singapore’s Cantopop and Getai scene, Jason Chung is a multi-faceted musician who has worn many hats in his 30-year career. Previously a band manager, Jason has performed at popular clubs like BabyFace, Firefly and the now-defunct Shanghai Dolly, Singapore’s longest-running and largest live Mandopop music venue. His colourful career included a stint as a judge for Mediacorp’s annual singing competition for seniors, Golden Age Talentime. Today, Jason is still a prolific performer in the live music circuit.
JASON 曾咏恒 | JASON & THE FOUR(CANTONESE BAND) 
Aarah Wong is no stranger to the regional touring circuit across Asia, from Singapore and Malaysia to Taiwan. Her wide repertoire ranges from powerful rock genres to sentimental Mando-Canto tunes. Her vocal chops are comparable to her groovy dance moves. Aarah has competed in singing contests like The Voice of China – Singapore audition in 2016. In 2016, she also participated in “Catch the Dream”, a reality show singing contest in South Korea and nabbed the chance to be a trainee under SM Entertainment, one of South Korea’s leading entertainment companies.
AARAH WONG(CANTONESE BAND) 
Since attaining the champion title at the renowned Rock Record Festival (滚石音乐节), held at Singapore’s former World Trade Centre. Wysom Wong became a Rock Records artiste building his repertoire in the industry. From heart-thumping Chinese Rock to golden Cantonese hits, he is well versed in a variety of genres and has even had a hand in musical theatre. To date, he remains a celebrated figure in the local music scene filling up Esplanade Concert Hall in his solo concert.
WYSOM 黄伟深 | 粤队(CANTONESE BAND) 
Fion Lim is a familiar face in Singapore’s live music circuit. She began her prolific career as an unplugged singer in 弹唱人名歌餐厅. Fion then started a homegrown band called “三月” that specialises in Cantonese and Mandarin tunes. She led her band to the top 4 position in the SuperBand 2008 contest. The popular local singing talent-search competition is a spin-off of Project SuperStar. Fion’s broad performing experience includes singing the opening song for 933’s Singapore Golden Melody Awards (颁奖典礼) competition. A multi-lingual and seasoned performer, Fion switches effortlessly between English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Hokkien.

SHAGIES – HASHIM | OLYNN | YANEE | TOMROSS | DAFFY | WANN (ENGLISH BAND)
A six-piece cover band established in 1987. Dynamic, versatile, fun and entertaining. Singapore’s homegrown talent playing a tight mix of Dance, Latin, Pop and Rock hits from the classics, retro and till the present. Their trademark song “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen never fails to impress the audience and always wanting for more. Come and party with them! Shagies started off by joining the YAMAHA band competition in 1986 in which they came in second. The name Shagies was taken from a character in the popular cartoon series Scooby Doo. They began playing professionally in clubs such as NCO Club, Anywhere, Europa in 1987. In 1993, the band performed at the Sentosa Music Festival along with international artists such as Bon Jovi, Rick Price, Jimmy Barnes and Andy Lau. The band represented the country in the Singapore Tourism’s Board’s promotional show in Surabaya, Indonesia in 1996. The band has made Television appearances such as Tonight with Gurmit in 1997, Asian Television Awards in 2000 and Anita Sarawak’s Speak of the Diva in 2001 which increased their popularity with local audiences. The band also made a guest appearance in the award winning SURIA channel drama Selagi Ada Kasih.

DJ RICO (RESIDENT DJ)
With 25 years of disc-jockeying experience, Rico consistently delivers the best 80s and 90s retro and classic Disco tunes to get the crowd on their feet. His mixed CD compilations – Dancebox (2002), Rico’s Reload vs Masterplate (2003) and Trance Euphoria (2004) were featured in Singapore’s Dance CD Top 10 Charts.

DJ MALCOLM X (RESIDENT DJ)
After travelling the globe extensively with world-renowned DJ agency Bacchus & Juliana’s, Malcolm X or DJ X is back in Singapore and does a weekly residency with Simply Retro at Tin Box. At Simply Retro, DJ X taps into his forte – music from the 70s to 90s, to showcase his vast music knowledge, curation skills and an innate sense of what gets the crowd up and dancing.
